အထက္ျမန္မာျပည္မႇ စာေရးဆရာမ်ား၏ထင္ရႇားေသာ၀တၴဳတိုမ်ားကို အဂၤလိပ္ဘာသာျဖင့္ ျပန္ဆိုေရးသားထုတ္ေ၀ထားပါသည္။ ျမန္မာ့ဓေလ့၊ အညာအေငြ႕အသက္မ်ားလႊမ္းထံုေသာ၀တၴဳတို ၁၂ ပုဒ္ပါ၀င္ပါသည္။ စာေရးဆရာမ်ားျဖစ္ေသာ ခ်စ္စရာ၊ ေမာင္သာပို၊ ဆူးငႇက္၊ ညီပုေလး၊ ဂ်ဳိေဇာ္၊ ၿမိဳ႕သာမရာထို၊ ခုိင္ႏြယ္သန့္ (မႏၲေလး) ႏႇင့္ ေအာင္ပိုက္တို့၏ ၀တၴဳတိုမ်ားကို ေရခ်မ္း (မႏၲေလး) က အဂၤလိပ္ဘာသာသို့ ျပန္ဆိုေရး သားထားပါသည္။ ျမန္မာမိသားစုမ်ား၏ခ်စ္ျခင္းေမတၲာ၊ အယူအဆ ဓေလ့ထံုးစံမ်ား၊ ေပ်ာ္ရႊင္ရယ္ေမာဖြယ္ျဖစ္ရပ္မ်ားကို ေရးဖြဲ႕ထားျခင္း ျဖစ္ေသာ္လည္း စိတ္ခံစားမႈသာမက ဘာသာစာေပအရပါ နားလည္ ခံစားႏိုင္ေအာင္ ဘာသာျပန္သူ၏ကြၽမ္းက်င္မႈႏႇင့္ ေပါင္းစပ္ေရးသား ထုတ္ေ၀ထားပါသည္။ ရသစာေပေလ့လာလုိသူ ႏုိင္ငံျခားသားတို့အတြက္ အထူးသင့္ေလ်ာ္သလို ဘာသာစကားေလ့လာလိုသူျပည္တြင္းစာဖတ္ပရိသတ္မ်ားလည္း ၀ယ္ယူဖတ္႐ႈသိမ္းဆည္းထားသင့္ေသာစာအုပ္ေကာင္းတစ္အုပ္ျဖစ္ပါသည္။

The Ayeyarwady river was flowing placidly and silently. The breeze was blowing gently, and the tips of the green banyan leaves were fluttering, pointing in the northerly direction like the needle of a compass. Almost all of her laundress friends were present at the river bank and the pleasant tune of the morning song of the Gaw Wein was in the air: the sloshing sound of clothes on the rock boulder, the thud of the washing-bats and the swish of the teeth-worn plastic brushes. The ponna-pyan ferry motorboat was tooting its horn as it struggled to navigate the low water level of the Ayeyarwady, and the thirty-eight steep steps of the clay embankment were parched. Laundress Mi Lone, to pre-empt the others, dried her washed laundry on the rope of the ferry boat and on the coconut fibre-plaited thick rope of the steamer—lessening the chance of dust settling on the clothes. So there was no need to dust them unlike the ones which were spread on the embankment.
